Sometimes you don’t need to see your physician if your health issue can be properly handled by another member of our team. We work in a collaborative way and can easily consult your physician if the need arises.
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) can care for patients whose care needs are well defined and the health condition is well controlled. Please visit the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario website for further information.
Our Registered Practical Nurse can provide many services after your doctor has seen you and made a referral, including the following:
- Allergy injections
- Assistance with lesion removals
- Blood Pressure checks
- Ear syringing
- Glucometer instruction
- Pap tests
- Suture or staple removals
- Travel immunizations
- Vitamin B12 injections
- Wart treatments (Planter warts only)
