Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, affects one in five Canadians and is often called the silent killer because you may not know it is there. The Powassan & Area Family Health Team has developed a hypertension screening based on best practice guidelines to annually screen patients so that we can identify whether or not you have high blood pressure.
